I met our caregiver shortly after moving my mother to an Assisted Living Home, because she saw me struggling
with my mother’s adjustment to living in such an environment. She was taking care of someone else there but
after witnessing my frustration for a few days, she offered some much-needed guidance and advice and I could
not have been more grateful. Sure enough, we became friends, and so with complete confidence I asked her to
look after my mother when I couldn’t be there … and then my mother fell in love with her! She even wanted to
“hang out” with her caregiver when I *was* around, just because she loved her calming demeanor, her grace,
and her beauty (“She’s so gorgeous!” my mother would say to anyone who would listen!) - it was a natural
fit!
